Fatties On The Fly is a Texas based, Orvis Endorsed, fly fishing company that strives to bring our customers incredible experiences on and off the water with expert guides and unforgettable experiences.

In addition to the Guide co, Fatties takes pride in providing season, region, and species specific flies that work to our customers through the website and fly shops alike. We provide quality flies at a fair price that have purpose. When I say flies with purpose I am talking about flies that hunt. Flies that are meant for the here and now. Each month we reach out to our team of pros to find out what flies are working. We then place those flies in your box and ship them directly to your door.

Brazos River Trip Had an awesome time with Colby from Fatties on the Fly! Caught upwards of 10 different species on my first float fly fishing trip. Epic Devils River Trip A few years ago, myself and two buddies floated the Devils River with Ben. It was an unforgettable trip, and I hope to do it again soon. The logistics, accommodations, and food were so well planned out. You see some magnificent country every bend of the river, with each day’s scenery being drastically different than the day before. The other exciting thing about the trip is the variety of fish available to hunt. Ben got me onto Carp, which requires a different technique, which he was happy to teach me.

Epic Striper fishing just outside Dallas! Unbelievable experience on the Brazos River with Ben. This was my first time fishing in Texas and Ben put us on an awesome variety of species. Stripers, Guadalupe and Gar fishing was an experience I’ll never forget. I’d highly recommend Fatties on the Fly for anyone looking for an awesome trip in Texas.
