• Fish anywhere permitted by law (freshwater, ponds, stock tanks, rivers, lakes, etc.) In the United States. 
• Boats are not required.
• This is a fly fishing only tournament.Single Fly, No live bait, no conventional gear, no baiting.

Safety and State Fishing Regulations

• Be sure to follow all regulations regarding fishing licenses, bag limits, length requirements and other rules that your state has in place.

Carp Tournament, Contests and Participation Rules

Event Dates: Saturday, Oct. 3rd, 2020

Times:  8:00 am to 5:00 pm – postings after post time will be disqualified.

Species for Judging:  CARP, Common, Mirror, Grass

Posting Limits: This is a total inches tournament. 

Judging Criteria:  

1. • This is a fly fishing only tournament. No live bait, no conventional gear.
   • Fish must be photographed laying on a measuring board in addition to a completed note card or the optional form on next page.  Check-It-Stiks can be purchased at Academy, on-line and at other fishing gear stores.

• • Mouth of fish must be touching the board and tail pinched. If measurement cannot be read from photograph, the entry will be disqualified. See example below:  Length is measured in inches from mouth to tip of tail, not the fork.
